Isla Import Terminals Inc. has secured registration with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as an economic zone domestic market enterprise.

The registration agreement was signed on May 10 by Isla Import chief executive officer Jose Antonio Gonzalez.

Isla Import is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of petroleum products. It will operate a storage terminal with a total capacity of 25,000 metric tons located in Tabangao Export Processing Zone, Batangas City.

The terminal will receive propane and butane from Very Large Gas Carriers and serve as Isla’s primary storage and distribution hub for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to other terminals nationwide. Imported products will be received through an existing jetty facility. The terminal is also designed for potential future LPG cylinder refilling capability.
