Jeremy Regino, former Philippine National Railways (PNR) general manager, has been sworn into office as undersecretary for railways of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Regino took his oath before Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista on January 4 following his appointment to the position by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. According to the Official Gazette, his appointment was dated December 5, 2023.

He was previously appointed as acting general manager of PNR in August 2022 and was also formerly administrator of the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA). He also previously served as chief of staff of former Caloocan City mayor Oscar Malapitan; chief of staff of LRTA; chief of staff at Philippine Tourism Authority; chief of staff for two previous governors of Pangasinan.
