JPP Cargo Logistics, Inc. (JPPCLI) sees continued growth and further expansion of services as it celebrates five years.
Since its inception in 2019, JPPCLI has seen significant growth, both in terms of expanding its client base and improving operational capacity.
“Our market presence has expanded significantly, with trusted referrals from reputable individuals and institutions both locally and abroad,” JPPCLI chairman Dexter Pedreza said in a statement to PortCalls.
“Our client base now includes multinational and homegrown companies that are market leaders in industries such as energy, shipping, food, cement, manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceuticals,” Pedreza added.
In a speech during the company’s fifth anniversary celebration on September 14, Pedreza said JPPCLI has grown from a team of less than 10 to 50 and expanded operations nationwide to as far as Zamboanga.
JPPCLI is also optimistic for this year and the next, with continued growth coming from expanding service offerings and strengthening client relationships, Pedreza said.
“We envision ourselves becoming the preferred logistics partner globally, aligning our growth with our mission to provide exceptional, sustainable services that not only surpass client expectations but also prioritize employee career advancement and work-life balance, while making a positive impact to the community,” Pedreza added.
He said they expect growth will primarily come from expanding the client base and handling higher volumes of shipments.
“We are exploring new partnerships and tapping into new industries. The expansion of our services, particularly in freight forwarding, will allow us to offer end-to-end logistics solutions,” Pedreza added.
JPPCLI is currently applying to become a licensed freight forwarder.
“This will allow JPP Cargo Logistics to offer comprehensive logistics solutions, from customs clearance to full-service freight forwarding,” Pedreza said.
He noted this step is aligned with the company vision of becoming “the preferred logistics partner worldwide,” ensuring the provision of even greater value to clients.
“By expanding our capabilities, we continue to push forward, inspired by our mission to provide sustainable and innovative services that leave a positive impact on our clients, employees, and community,” he added.
Further, JPPCLI is placing a strong emphasis on digitalization, which Pedreza said is transforming the logistics and supply chain industry.
He said they are looking to adopt advanced technologies such as automation, real-time data tracking, and digital platforms to streamline operations.
“By embracing these innovations, we can reduce inefficiencies, minimize delays, and enhance decision-making capabilities through better data analytics. Digital tools will also allow us to offer more personalized and efficient services, improving customer experience and enabling us to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market,” he concluded.
