J&T Express Philippines has acquired a new electric vehicle (EV) from QSJ Motors Phils, Inc. as part of its mission to reinforce green logistics within its operations.

The Tiger 6G EV is a new electric light truck designed for zero-emission and efficient transport, the courier company said in a statement.

Powered by a 100-kilowatt battery, the EV offers a driving range of up to 300 kilometers on a single charge and is supported by a portable charging solution for flexible daily operations. The vehicle features anti-lock braking system, non-autonomous electronic parking brake, electric power steering, a multifunctional steering wheel, electrically heated rear-view mirrors, an elevated cargo box, reverse camera with central control screen, reverse radar, and LED headlights with automatic lighting.

As a pure EV, J&T Express said the Tiger 6G EV produces zero emissions, providing a cleaner alternative to conventional fuel-powered commercial trucks.

The addition of the EV to J&T Express’ existing fleet serves as a crucial step in the company’s “Innovation in Every Delivery 2025” roadmap, presenting J&T Express as the local sustainability leader in environmentally friendly logistical operations.

As part of these efforts, J&T Express Philippines vice president Zoe Chi spearheaded strategic discussions with vehicle suppliers to tackle industry reforms and bring green logistics into focus across the country.

“Electric vehicles are just one means out of many in empowering green logistics, and J&T Express aims to develop our efforts further in minimizing the environmental impact of our operations,” Chi said.

“We sincerely value the support of QSJ Motors Phils, Inc. in our pursuit of greener logistics nationwide, and it serves as a promise for us to continue deploying more initiatives geared towards sustainability,” she added.

QSJ Motors , which has supplied a part of J&T Express’ current delivery fleet, is presently shifting the spotlight towards sustainable transport solutions. The partnership with J&T symbolizes their shared dedication to green logistics and represents J&T Express’ move to empower carbon-neutral initiatives.

Earlier, J&T Express also deployed its first EV fleet in partnership with HOWO.
