Lufthansa Technik Philippines, Inc.’s (LTP) new line maintenance station at General Santos International Airport is now operational.
The facility, opened following regulatory approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, includes an office, controlled storage and general storage, all fully equipped to provide comprehensive aircraft line maintenance services.
LTP said the expansion strengthens its presence in strategic airports, enhancing its capability to support the growing cargo and passenger traffic in Southern Philippines.
General Santos City, known as the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, is a vital gateway to key provinces in Mindanao.
“With this new outstation, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering reliable and efficient line maintenance services at critical airports,” LTP said in a social media post.
A joint venture between Hamburg-based Lufthansa Technik AG and Philippine aviation support service provider MacroAsia Corp., LTP specializes in base maintenance while also offering tailored line maintenance services and supports with a broad range of other integrated MRO.
LTP’s maintenance base is located in Manila and has maintenance stations in Cebu, Clark, Davao, Kalibo, and Puerto Princesa.
