Maersk’s Alcano named SCMAP VP for 2026

  • The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines appointed Jennifer Alcano, senior business development manager at Maersk Contract Logistics, as vice president
  • Alcano previously served as the association treasurer
  • A vacancy arose after Pierre Carlo Curay, the previous VP, was named president
  • Curay replaced Dennis Llovido, who retired from Nestlé Philippines. Under SCMAP by-laws, only company representatives may serve as officers
  • Two new directors were also named: Sierra Basmayor-Ng of Unilever Philippines and Clarissa Castillo of Kenvue

Jennifer Alcano, senior business development manager for Maersk Contract Logistics in the Philippines, has been named vice president of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP).

Alcano will serve in the role until end of the year. Her appointment comes after Pierre Carlo Curay was elevated to the presidency, creating a vacancy in the VP post.

Alcano previously held the position of treasurer. A vote among the SCMAP board of directors will soon be taken to fill the vacant post of treasurer.

Curay, previously the association’s vice president, succeeded Dennis Llovido, who has retired from Nestlé Philippines. Under SCMAP by-laws, only company representatives may serve as officers.

Meanwhile, the association also named two new directors following the recent board vacancies: Sierra Basmayor-Ng of Unilever Philippines and Clarissa Castillo of Kenvue. Both will serve until the end of 2026.
