Marcos appoints Palomar PPA AGM for operations

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has appointed Atty. Mark Jon Palomar as assistant general manager for operations of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

In an appointment paper dated October 2, Marcos had Palomar take over from Francisquiel Mancile.

Prior to his appointment, Palomar was the department manager of PPA’s Commercial Services Department. He has been with PPA for seven years, having started in 2017 as an executive assistant, and was also department manager for the Human Resource Management Department.

Prior to PPA, he was a partner of the law firm of Bartolome Salazar Palomar & Associates, and an associate in two other law firms. He studied law at the University of the Philippines and passed the bar exam in 2005.
