Intra-Asia trade specialist MCC Transport, based in Singapore, is revising its Shanghai 1 (SH-1) route to expand its current scope of service within East and Southeast Asia.

Launched in September last year, the revised loop will add calls to Port Klang, Keelung, and Kaohsiung.

From the original 28 days, the revised route will be taking a 35-day rotation, with the following port schedule: Shanghai, Tanjung Pelepas, Chittagong, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Keelung, and back to Shanghai.

First sailing is on the vessel Dhaka, which is expected to depart Shanghai on March 11, 2012, said MCC, a subsidiary of Danish oil and shipping group A.P. Moller-Maersk.
