MSC Upgrades Bayan Ko Service

Bayan Ko Service:

Hong Kong – Yantian – Shekou – Nansha – Ho Chi Minh City – Dong Nai – Manila North Harbour – Cebu – Davao – Shekou – Hong Kong

On 27 March 2026, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company marks the maiden call of its Bayan Ko service in Cebu, bringing new momentum to the Visayas trade.

By integrating Cebu South Harbor into its port rotation, the enhanced Bayan Ko service provides Cebu with more competitive and comprehensive access to Asia’s key trade hubs. These
strategic enhancements will deliver seamless transit and stronger connectivity across the region, helping Filipino businesses thrive in today’s dynamic market.

For Cebu exporters, this means they can move globally recognized products, such as furniture and home décor, electronics, foodstuffs, garments, and industrial goods, to long-haul markets
with greater speed, consistency, and confidence. At the same time, Cebu importers will benefit from stronger and more dependable supply chains.

With the revamped Bayan Ko Service now officially calling at Cebu South Harbor every Friday, starting 27 March 2026, MSC reaffirms its commitment to empowering global trade, providing
local businesses with global reach, reliability, and world-class service to thrive.

This is more than a service upgrade. This is MSC investing in Cebu’s future.
