Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 will close for renovation starting November 6 and is expected to reopen in February 2025.
The project aims to update ageing infrastructure, enhance safety, and improve passenger experience, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) announced. NNIC took over operation of the NAIA network on September 14.
The domestic airport currently serves airlines like AirSWIFT with 12 daily flights, Sunlight Air with two daily flights, and CebGo with 36 daily flights.
During the renovation, all flights will be temporarily relocated to Terminal 2. NNIC assured that the transition will be coordinated with the airlines to minimize passenger disruptions.

The domestic airport accommodates an average of 2,900 passengers daily, split between 1,400 arrivals and 1,500 departures, accounting for 2.23% of the airport network’s overall daily passenger volume, according to NNIC.
The airport private consortium urged travelers to stay updated on flight schedules through their airlines and NNIC’s social media channels and official website.
“Our goal is to make Terminal 4 more comfortable and efficient for travelers. While there may be some temporary disruptions, we appreciate the public’s understanding and patience as we work to deliver these much-needed improvements,” NNIC said in a statement.
Terminal reassignments are part of the changes being done by NNIC. NNIC assumed control of NAIA last Sept. 14.
