Neri reappointed CEO, board member of MCIAA

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. re-appointed Julius Neri, Jr. as general manager, CEO and board member of Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA).

He is no stranger to the MCIAA. Neri has been acting general manager and CEO of the agency since July.

Under the Duterte administration, Neri was general manager, CEO and board member (since 2021), and a member of the MCIAA board representing the private sector (since 2016).

He was president of SunStar Publishing Inc. and general manager of SunStar Cebu, with almost 30 years’ experience with the media company.

MCIAA manages and operates the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, one of the country’s major gateways.
