Ninja Van Group officially named Vin Perez as the new country head for the Philippines and Lin Zheng as country head for Malaysia.

Previously its chief operating officer, Perez was cited by the Southeast Asian tech-enabled express logistics group as “pivotal” to its operations for the past five years.

It said Perez’s appointment “aligns with Ninja Van Group’s commitment to providing operational excellence for its shippers and shoppers.”

“Vin” or Jose Alvin Perez, was credited by the group for overseeing the scaling and optimizing operations to achieve “100% full parcel pick-up” and delivery network coverage in the Philippines.

During his tenure as the Ninja Van Philippines COO, he has “enabled hassle-free deliveries” – serving 18 million parcel recipients in the last 12 months – across the archipelago, according to the Ninja Van Group.

One of the milestones under Perez’s leadership is the opening of the Cabuyao hub, the largest automated sorting hub in Laguna spanning 220,000 square feet.

Their appointments from COOs to Country Heads not only recognize their contributions but also reflect Ninja Van Group’s dedication to operational excellence and talent development within the organization,” says Lai Chang Wen, chief executive officer and co-founder of Ninja Van Group.

Joel Ong, Ninja Van Group’s COO said, “Vin and Lin Zheng have demonstrated a critical role in building and improving our operational capabilities in their respective markets. Through their hard work, we have managed to strengthen our ability to serve our shippers and shoppers in the Philippines and Malaysia.”
