ID-100126626The Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines (CTAP) has elected its new officers for 2015 to 2017.

Edgardo Olego, formerly CTAP vice president for internal affairs, replaces Ruperto Bayocot as president of the organization for a two-year term. Bayocot remains one of CTAP’s directors.

Former vice president for external affairs Mario Yap has been elected as vice president for internal affairs, while Pepito Dino will take up his position.

Editha Macasiray remains as secretary and Eduardo David as assistant secretary.

Also retaining their positions are Jay Marion Ercia as treasurer, Virgilio Jamero as auditor, and Jesusito Cortez as PRO.

Sitting anew as directors are Nilo Manikan, Alberto Suansing, and Maria Zapata, with Carlito Villanueva as a new addition.

Retired colonel Rodolfo De Ocampo remains as chairman and retired general Edgar Aglipay as chairman emeritus.

CTAP’s affiliate members nationwide include Cagayan Aggregates and River Gravel Haulers Association, Inc.; Cebu Truckers Association, Inc.; Leyte Truckers Association; Negros Consolidated Truckers Association; Subic Bay Haulers Association; and Truckers Association of Davao to Accelerate Development.
