Ocean Network Express (ONE) is launching a new direct service that connects Singapore to the Philippine southern cities of Davao and General Santos (GenSan).
The new Philippines Express 3 (PHX3) service features ONE-operated vessels calling Mindanao ports for the first time, said the Japanese container transportation and shipping company jointly owned by three Japanese shipping lines in an announcement.
The port rotation is Singapore-Davao-General Santos-Singapore.
“PHX3 enhances our coverage of key Philippine outports while supporting reefer cargo movement, further supporting Davao’s and General Santos’ thriving agri-export sector,” ONE said.

It added that PHX3’s expanded capacity and direct connectivity enhances the global reach of Mindanao’s agriculture exports, such as bananas and pineapples through its refer solutions.
“Davao and General Santos are emerging as a dynamic hub of fresh produce exports. The new ONE-operated PHX3 service unlocks new opportunities, empowering shippers with faster transit times, dedicated space, and expanded service coverage to effectively reach global markets,” ONE Philippines contract key account assistant manager John Michael Co said.
