Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has appointed a U.S.company executive as general manager of corporate logistics at its Hong Kong headquarters effective November 1, 2011.

Paul Devine, currently senior vice president of sales of OOCL (USA), will relocate to Hong Kong in early October to assume his new post.

He replaces Henry Wong, the director of corporate logistics and fleet management, who retires on October 31, 2011 after 38 years of tenure. Wong will stay on as an advisor for one more year, OOCL said.

Erxin Yao, president of OOCL (USA), will concurrently assume Devine’s former role as head of sales of OOCL (USA).
