It also provides a single database hosting of all product lists and electronic permits with improved risk management system by using artificial intelligence to help PEZA with its evaluation process, and an online platform which enables the Authority to have real-time monitoring of truck movements, audit trail of permits against trucks.

Further, the project aims to consolidate all PEZA data in one single-secured repository allowing for further enhancement of its ease of doing business and one-stop shop service.

The first phase of the project – the BERMS – will be launched next month, making it the first undertaken pursuant to RA 11966, or the PEZA Code under the current administration.

The agreement was signed by PEZA director general Tereso Panga and UJV representative Samantha Rodriguez, with ERSSG group manager Atty. Ross Vincent Sy and Ascent COO Danilo Bungubung as witnesses.
