Philippine Airlines (PAL) ranked as the most on-time airline in the Asia-Pacific for 2025 after recording an on-time arrival performance of 83.12%, the highest among carriers in the region, based on independently verified data from global aviation analytics firm Cirium.
The result distinguished the country’s flag carrier for consistent operational performance in one of the world’s most challenging aviation environments, where airlines routinely contend with weather disruptions, air traffic congestion, and airport infrastructure constraints.
Cirium’s on-time performance program, now in its 17th year, is widely regarded as the industry benchmark for airline reliability. It tracks millions of flights worldwide using transparent and objective methodologies.
PAL said punctuality remains a core commitment to passengers and is supported by close coordination across flight operations, engineering, airport services, ground handling, and customer-facing and corporate support teams.

“This achievement reflects the discipline, professionalism, and teamwork of our entire organization, particularly our frontline teams who operate our flights safely and reliably every day,” Lucio Tan III, president and chief operating officer of PAL Holdings, Inc., said in a press release.
“It also reflects what can be achieved through strong collaboration with our private sector partners, including MacroAsia Corporation, Lufthansa Technik Philippines, New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation, Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc., and LIPAD Corp, as well as the continued support of our government partners,” he added.
PAL is the Philippine’s only full-service network airline, operating a fleet of Boeing, Airbus, and De Havilland aircraft from hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao. It covers domestic and international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
An APEX Four™ Star recipient, PAL also offers cargo and charter services.
