PAL reviving Manila-Saipan direct flights in March 2026

  • Philippine Airlines  is reviving its direct flights between Manila and Saipan beginning March 29, 2026

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is reviving its direct flights between Manila and Saipan beginning March 29, 2026, further expanding its reach in the Pacific Islands.

Saipan, a United States territory, will become PAL’s seventh destination in the U.S., joining Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Guam, and Honolulu, the flag carrier said in a statement.

The Manila-Saipan flights will be twice weekly, with services from Manila departing every Wednesday and Sunday at 7:45 PM and arriving in Saipan at 1:45 AM the following day.

For the return journey, flights from Saipan will be on Mondays and Thursdays, departing at 2:50 AM and arriving in Manila at 5:05 AM.

PAL said this schedule provides seamless travel options for passengers connecting between the Philippines and the Northern Marianas.

It also joins PAL’s route network in the Pacific from Manila, currently served by flights to Guam and Honolulu, with soon-to-be-launched services to Palau and Guam via Cebu.

To celebrate the return of direct flights between Manila and Saipan, the flag carrier is offering special introductory fares for travelers. Passengers can enjoy economy class fares starting at US$249 for a one-way base fare and $389 for a roundtrip base fare. For those seeking added comfort, business class fares are available at $669 one-way and $1,029 roundtrip.

PAL said its extensive route network will enable beach lovers and dive enthusiasts from Asia and North America to fly to Saipan through PAL’s Manila hub. Additionally, direct flights from Saipan to Manila provide the Chamorro community and international travelers convenient connections to PAL’s domestic and international network.
