Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its domestic network out of Manila with the addition of a Cauayan, Isabela service starting January 15, 2025.
The new one-hour daily flights will offer residents of Northern Luzon an alternative to a land trip of more than 10 hours to go to Manila from Cauayan and vice versa, the flag carrier said in a statement.
“Philippine Airlines looks forward to serving the people of Isabela province with our daily flights as our latest investment in building connectivity between key cities in Luzon for the benefit of local tourism and economic growth,” PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang said.
“We are grateful for the support of the local government of Isabela in making this venture possible, and we will do our best to extend PAL’s brand of Buong Pusong Alaga to our Cauayan-bound passengers,” Ang added.
PAL said its new Manila-Cauayan service provide a gateway to the province of Isabela, known for its thriving agricultural economy, richness of culture and renowned festivals, including the annual Bambanti and Gawagaway-yan events.
PAL will operate the daily flights to and from Cauayan utilizing 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, with departures from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 at 01:25 PM, and departures from Cauayan Airport at 3:25 PM.
The Cauayan-Manila flights will also connect to a wider range of domestic and international destinations served by PAL from Manila, the airline noted.
