With the beefed-up Clark-Busuanga offering, PAL now offers a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga (Coron)
Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its Clark-Busuanga (Coron) flights to daily service starting March 1.
The Clark-Busuanga and Busuanga-Clark services will increase from the current four weekly flights in response to the growing demand for leisure travel to Northern Palawan, the flag carrier said in a statement.
Busuanga Airport is the gateway to Coron and a wealth of dramatic landscapes, hidden beaches, turquoise lagoons and rich biodiversity, PAL noted.
“We are excited to help foreign and domestic tourists discover the abundant wonders of Coron, home to the Twin Lagoons, Barracuda Lake, and vibrant coral reefs that grew from the hulks of sunken warships, hailed by Forbes Traveler Magazine as one of the top ten best scuba diving sites in the world,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.
“Our upgrade to daily Clark-Busuanga flights will help make fares more affordable and travel more convenient for both foreign and domestic tourists, in time for the summer travel season,” Ang added.
With the beefed-up Clark-Busuanga service, PAL now offers a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga (Coron).
The flag carrier flies three times daily between Manila and Busuanga, as well as twice daily between Cebu and Busuanga.
PAL operates its 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, offering near-jet speeds and a quieter inflight experience, for the Clark-Busuanga flights.
From Clark International Airport, PAL also mounts daily flights to Cebu, three weekly flights to Siargao, and four weekly flights to Basco (Batanes) along with seasonal nonstop services to Seoul Incheon (until March 4).
