Palace appoints PPA assistant GMs

  • Carlito M. Castillo and Francisquiel O. Mancile have been appointed as Philippine Ports Authority assistant general managers for engineering and operations, respectively
  • Their appointments were contained in a letter dated July 18 addressed to Transport Secretary Jaime Bautista by Malacañang
  • Castillo replaces Constante Fariñas Jr. while Mancile replaces Hector Miole

Malacañang has appointed Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) assistant general managers (GMs) for engineering and operations Engr. Carlito M. Castillo and Atty. Francisquiel O. Mancile, respectively.

The appointments of the PPA assistant GMs were contained in a letter dated July 18, 2022 and addressed to Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista, PPA said in a statement. Castillo and Mancile took their oath of office on July 26.

Castillo replaces Constante Fariñas Jr. while Mancile takes over from Hector Miole.

Castillo is the current department head of PPA’s Port Construction and Maintenance Department. Mancile has been with PPA since 1991 and serves as port manager of the Port Management Office (PMO) of Marinduque/ Quezon. He was formerly port manager of PMO National Capital Region-South.
