Philippine cargo carrier Skyway Airlines recently launched its first international service to Hong Kong International Airport from Clark International Airport (CRK).
The adhoc service was conducted in partnership with flag carrier Philippine Airlines on March 21.
The Clark-Hong Kong-Manila-Hong Kong-Clark service utilizes Skyway Airlines’ Boeing 737-4M0(BDSF).
Skyway is a certified dangerous goods carrier.
Officials of Skyway, CRK and the Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark graced the launch.
Founded in October 2022 by Jose Peralta, Skyway provides express cargo services using dedicated freighters. Peralta is also the founder of private credit firm Broadstreet and previously served as vice president of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The airline had its inaugural flight at CRK in August 2024, making it the first local carrier to operate a Boeing 737-400F for cargo transport, the country’s biggest cargo-only aircraft to date.
The airline also has flights between CRK, Cebu, and Davao.
