The Philippine Multimodal Transport and Logistics Association Inc. (PMTLAI) recently signed a memorandum of agreement with BDO Unibank. Under the MOA, BDO will support the financial management needs of PMTLAI members.

The agreement is part of PMTLAI’s advocacy for an electronic payment system among its members well as certain sectors of the transport industry, in the interest of enhancing efficiency of Philippine logistics stakeholders.

Providing systems support will be InterCommerce Network Services.

PMTLAI is the recently formed national association of Philippine freight forwarders, which integrated sea and air freight forwarders previously under separate associations into one grouping.
