The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Cebu generated P17.8 million from the public auction of 96 containers of various forfeited articles on October 21.

The auction proceeding was live streamed via the Port’s Facebook page and recorded through a body-worn camera pursuant to Customs Memorandum Order No. 33-2021.

Auction and Cargo Disposal Unit Chief  engineer Ronald D. Morillo, presided over the sale and was assisted by Law Division Chief and Auction Committee vice-chair Atty. Vicente Andrew M. Espina.

The Deputy District Collector for Operations, Atty. Marc Anthony C. Patriarca, and other committee members from the Office of the District Collector, Enforcement and Security Service, and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service were also present.
