PUCP elects officers, board members for 2026-‘27

  • The Port Users Confederation of the Philippines, Inc. elected its new board and officers for 2026-2027, with Rommel Ibuna as president
  • The new Board of Trustees and officers officially took oath before Customs commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno on March 20
  • Rodolfo de Ocampo is now chairman of the board while Joel Longares is now executive vice president, concurrent to his position as vice president for door-to-door (balikbayan boxes) & OFW affairs
  • The rest of the trustees and officers have maintained their positions for the new term

The Port Users Confederation of the Philippines, Inc. (PUCP) has elected its new board and officers for 2026-2027, with Rommel Ibuna taking the helm as president.

The new Board of Trustees and officers officially took oath before Customs commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno on March 20.

“Congratulations to the new set of officers. Good luck. Organizations such as PUCP are crucial, and with cooperation, even complex challenges become manageable,” Nepomuceno said while also reminding about the importance of friendship, cooperation, and integrity in leadership.

Ibuna replaces Colonel (ret.) Rodolfo de Ocampo, who has been elected as chairman of the board.

Joel Longares is now executive vice president, concurrent to his position as vice president for door-to-door (balikbayan boxes) & OFW (overseas Filipino workers) affairs.

The rest have maintained their positions.

Noemi Saludo is still chairman emeritus, while Julita Lopez is also chairman of the board; Oliver de Guzman, vice chairman and assistant treasurer; Godofred Mozo is vice president for finance and treasurer; Marieta Veneracion, vice president for transport, forwarding, and Philippine Economic Zone Authority sector/internal auditor; Jevb Bote, vice president for government affairs; Armando Victoria, vice president for international trade; Mario Sy, vice president for domestic trade; Elain Tan, vice president for bonded warehouse, internal affairs & business development; Reynaldo Dizon, corporate secretary and legal counsel; and Edgar Aglipay, chairman of the senior advisory council.

PUCP last January marked its 30th founding anniversary, renewing its commitment to pursue its advocacies for the port and customs community.

PUCP is now composed of 14 core member associations and several associate members, representing a wide range of sectors in the port and logistics ecosystem.
