Quickflo Forwarders Inc. recently inaugurated its newest warehouse in General Trias, Cavite as it further expands operations.
The 3,000-square meter owned facility was put up due to the growing demand from clients, Quickflo president and chief executive officer Corazon Kalinga told PortCalls at the sidelines of the inauguration on September 2, which coincided with the company’s 29th anniversary.
“With this expansion, we are not only enhancing our operational capabilities but reaffirming our dedication to you, our clients and partners. This facility will allow us to better serve your needs, streamline our processes, and ensure that every product we handle meets the highest standard,” Kalinga said in a speech during the event.
Kalinga said they are looking to service a variety of products but mostly in the new facility, which she noted will be filled in a matter of months as they will also transfer volumes from their two other facilities.
During the inauguration, Kalinga announced the establishment of a new division dedicated to handling project cargoes, Quickflo Logistics.
Kalinga said they are eyeing to handle shipments for renewable energy projects. Just this year, Quickflo, in collaboration with Dubai-based Ceekay Shipping Services, handled the transportation and customs clearance of a rig from Oman to Leyte.
Moving forward, Kalinga said they aim to grow more, having started from just seven people 29 years ago to 300 presently. The company also owns a fleet of 50 trucks.
Quickflo was established in 1995 and offers international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, tariff consultancy, packing and crating, trucking for general and extra-ordinary cargoes, domestic freight forwarding, door-to-door shipments, transshipment of inter-port freight movement, and warehousing.
