Global logistics provider Rhenus Group has opened a new warehouse facility in Parañaque City, Metro Manila as part of its push to expand its presence in the Philippines and strengthen regional logistics network.
The new 7,320-square-meter multi-user warehouse is strategically located near major business districts and key transport routes, with direct access from the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) via the Sucat interchange.
Designed to support modern logistics operations, the facility features a high ceiling of about 20 meters with full insulation, enabling efficient storage and cargo handling.
The warehouse was built to meet safety and security standards and is equipped with optical beam smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, mechanical cross-ventilation, and a fully enclosed, gated compound.
It also operates with 24-hour security guards, full CCTV coverage with 60-day video retention, and an intruder alarm system.
Sustainability features were also integrated into the design, including LED lighting, skylights for natural illumination, and provisions for solar panel installation, aimed at reducing the facility’s carbon footprint.
The warehouse is undergoing certification for Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management standards.
The Parañaque site expands the company’s logistics footprint in the country, complementing seven existing facilities across Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao, and supporting the integration of Philippine operations with global supply chains.
