Rhenus Philippines has inaugurated its new head office, which consolidates Rhenus Air & Ocean, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, and Rhenus Freight Intelligence under one roof, in the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

This development is part of a wider US$20-million investment commitment that includes expanding the Global Shared Service Centre and enhancing its warehousing capabilities.

The opening ceremony welcomed over 250 guests, including customers, partners, vendors, and representatives from EuroCham and the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce. The event featured a blessing, followed by speeches, a ribbon-cutting and other celebrations.

“Our new head office represents a key milestone in our expansion journey to become the leading freight forwarding provider in the market. This step allows us to create synergies across our business units, support future business expansion, while being close to customers and partners,” said Marco Heer, Managing Director of Rhenus Philippines, Air & Ocean.

Positioned between Manila Bay and the airport, the new 1,000 sqm facility also houses the Global Shared Service Centre, providing digital solutions, IT functions, process optimization, and back-office support for Rhenus worldwide. As global demand for efficiency and innovation rises, the Philippines setup will play a pivotal role in the Rhenus network.

Rhenus plans to expand its warehousing capacity with a 20,000 sqm built-to-suit facility by 2026, designed for both Dangerous Goods (DG) and Non-DG products. This will complement existing facilities in Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.

“We will continue to invest in modern facilities with a strong focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, and sustainability,” affirmed Deepak Sharma, Managing Director of Rhenus Philippines Warehousing Solutions.
