Road closures on All Saints’ Day

  • The Manila Police District will implement road closures and re-routing starting October 31 at 10:00pm to November 2 as the country observes this year’s All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day
  • The expanded unified vehicular volume reduction program (UVVRP) or the number coding scheme will also be suspended from 7:00am to 5:00am and 5:00pm to 8:00pm on October 31 and November 1
  • The actual closing and opening of affected roads will be based on actual traffic situation

The Manila Police District will implement road closures and re-routing starting October 31 at 10:00pm to November 2 as the country observes this year’s All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.

The expanded unified vehicular volume reduction program (UVVRP) or the number coding scheme will also be suspended from 7:00am to 5:00am and 5:00pm to 8:00pm on October 31 and November 1.

Road closures will cover the following routes:

  • Stretch of Aurora Blvd. from Dimasalang to Rizal Avenue
  • Stretch of Dimasalang from Makiling to Blumentritt Rd.
  • Stretch of P. Guevarra from Cavite to Pampanga St.
  • Stretch of Bluementritt from A. Bonifacio to P. Guevarra St.
  • Stretch of Retiro from Dimasalang to Blumentritt Ext.
  • Stretch of Leonor Rivera from Cavite to Aurora Boulevard

Re-routing of vehicles, meanwhile, cover the following routes:

  • All vehicles coming from Dimasalang Rd, intending to utilize Blumentritt Rd. should turn right to Makiling St., straight to Blumentritt Ext. to point of destination.
  • All vehicles coming from Rizal Ave. intending to utilize Blumentritt Rd. should continue straight to Rizal Ave. to point of destination.
  • For those going to La Loma and Chinese Cemeteries, take the stretch of Rizal Ave. & J. Abad Santos Ave., as your point of entrance or exit (vice versa).
  • All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles coming from A.H. Lacson Ave. intending to utilize Dimasalang Rd., should go straight to Yuseco St. to point of destination.

Parking areas include the following:

  • Simoun St., from Dimasalang Rd. to Mayon St. to accommodate 150 cars
  • F Huertas St., from Blumentritt Rd. to Aurora Blvd. to accommodate 100 cars
  • Metrica St., from Dapitan St., to Makiling St., to accommodate 120 cars
  • Oroquieta St., from Blumentritt Rd. to Aurora Blvd. to accommodate 100 cars
  • Craig St. from Dapitan St., to Makiling St. to accommodate 120 cars
  • Sulu St. from Blumentritt Rd. to Aurora Blvd. to accommodate 100 cars

The actual closing and opening of affected roads will be based on actual traffic situation.
