Royalair Philippines launched its new Airbus A321F freighter that will soon operate between Clark International Airport (CRK) and Nanning, China.
Regular cargo flights for the CRK-Nanning-CRK route will officially commence on July 28.
The new service aims to strengthen regional trade links and support the continued growth of logistics operations at Clark, CRK said in a social media post.
Royalair is operating the aircraft in partnership with the Nanning Communications Investment Group.
Established in 2022 as an air charter service, Royal Air in 2018 entered into commercial operations with its inaugural flight from Clark to Caticlan and vice versa.
It currently offers domestic flights including in Manila, Caticlan, Tagbilaran, and to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
Royal Air joins other freight operators operating at CRK, including Skyway Airlines, FedEx, United Parcel Service, Seair International, YTO Cargo Airlines, China Postal Airlines, Central Airlines, Jiangsu Jingdong Cargo Airlines, Shandong Airlines and Tianjin Air Cargo.
The Clark Civil Aviation Complex in Pampanga—where CRK is situated—is being set to become a global hub for logistics and aviation services.
