Samsung leads BOC-NAIA’s top importers for 2023

Samsung Electronics Philippines led the Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s (BOC-NAIA) list of top 20 importers for 2023.

Samsung contributed a total of P2.739 billion, followed by Globe Telecom Inc., Louis Vuitton (Phils) Inc., Smart Communications Inc., and International Specialty Concepts, BOC-NAIA said in a statement.

“To our top importers in 2023, you carried us through a challenging year that enabled us to surpass our annual target. This is a shared success, because without all of you today, this would not have been possible. Kaya maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na suporta sa mga adhikain ng ahensya (Thank you for your continued support to the agency’s advocacies),” BOC-NAIA district collector Yasmin Mapa said during the recognition of partners.

Mapa also recognized the work and dedication of all BOC-NAIA offices.

BOC-NAIA said it remains steadfast in being a gateway to international travelers and air cargo importers.

The entire BOC system posted revenue collections of P883.624 billion 2023, surpassing by 1.08% its target of P874.166 billion.
