President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. designated TARI Estate in Tarlac City as a special economic zone under Proclamation No. 701 issued on October 2.
TARI Estate is located in Barangay Lourdes, Tarlac City. It covers 200 hectares in its initial phase and is projected to create up to 60,000 jobs. The estate broke ground in May 2024.
Developed by Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates (AIEE), the industrial-anchored mixed-use estate will be complemented by a commercial and residential component.

AIEE has committed P7 billion over two years to the estate’s development.
TARI Estate boasts a dedicated office for the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and Bureau of Customs within its industrial area. On its website, the estate said it aims to be more than a traditional industrial park, incorporating mixed-use facilities like retail, office, residential spaces, dormitories, and hospitality services.
It is set to collaborate with LIMA Estate, AIEE’s 900-hectare industrial park in Batangas.
TARI Estate is 36 kilometers away from New Clark City; also 36kms from Clark International Airport, 97km from Subic Bay Freeport, 96km from the upcoming Bulacan Airport, and 135km from the Manila International Airport.
The project is part of a broader strategy to position Central Luzon as a key investment destination supported by the government’s infrastructure development initiatives to enhance connectivity, strengthen supply chains, and foster economic growth across Luzon.
