Logistics technology firm GoComet launched its next-level artificial intelligence (AI) for supply chain operations at the recent Manila Horizon 2026.

Chitransh Sahai, cofounder and CEO of the Singapore-headquartered company, said their agentic AI offers progression to autonomous logistics operations from just automated workflows.

“Visibility tells you where things are. Intelligence tells you what to do next,” he said in a statement. “AI helps supply chains move from reacting late to planning early, which is where real resilience is built.”

The forum highlighted how large Philippine companies have adopted AI in their logistics operations, recognizing that supply chain intelligence is not just a tool but a strategic capability.

GoComet, which has been in the Philippines since August 2021, said it has recorded “approximately 2.5x annual growth in the region.” The Philippines currently accounts for nearly 20% of GoComet’s total Southeast Asia customer portfolio, underscoring the country’s growing role as a hub for supply chain innovation in the region.

Among its Philippine customers are Jollibee Foods Corp., which has multinational and diverse restaurant chains, and Century Pacific Foods, a major producer and exporter of canned fish and meat, and coconut milk, among other products.

GoComet said Filipino industry leaders noted that while basic tracking has become table stakes, organizations are now prioritizing systems that can interpret live data, flag risks early, and support faster decision-making — especially across inbound freight and cross-border trade.

Sahai emphasized that AI’s growing role in supply chains is about strengthening human judgment. By automating monitoring, exception detection, and data consolidation, intelligent systems are freeing teams to focus on strategy, supplier collaboration, and scenario planning.

“Technology only creates impact when it fits naturally into how teams work. The goal isn’t more dashboards — it’s fewer surprises,” he said.

At the forum, participants agreed that the next phase of supply chain transformation in the Philippines will be driven by ecosystem collaboration, where enterprises, logistics providers, and technology platforms share data to build collective resilience.

“The Manila discussions reinforced a clear message: AI is no longer a future concept for supply chains in the Philippines. It is already shaping how organizations anticipate risk, protect service levels, and scale confidently in an increasingly complex global environment,” GoComet said.

Sahai showcased how GoComet’s AI Centre brings together multiple intelligent systems that continuously observe operations, reason over real-world context, and assist teams across planning, execution, and risk management.

In effect, the AI agents act as personal digital assistants embedded into a team’s daily work.

“Together, these systems convert millions of data points across shipments, documents, and communications into prioritized, explainable actions,” the company said, adding that this translates to improved productivity, reduced freight costs by up to 30%, and higher inventory turnover by 17%, and better customer satisfaction.

GoComet, founded in 2016, has served over 500 global brands across more than 70 countries.
