The United Portusers Confederation of the Philippines, Inc (UPC) recently held its first open golf tournament at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite.

Marlon Villanueva from ICPI emerged as the overall lowest gross champion while Rodel Mangulabnan from GPS Trackers, the sponsor of the hole-in-one prize, was the overall lowest net champion.

Men’s Division Class A Champion was Jan Anthony Coching from Mercury Freight. First runner up was Nico Sevilla and second runner up Daniel Roa from Inland Corp.

The champion for the Men’s Division Class B was Ricky Sanchez (OOCL), first runner up was Atty.Roel Barba (RFM Group) and second runner up, Mario Pangan (PAL).

IT Depot’s Eugene Suarez was the Men’s Division Class C Champion; 1st runner up was Demjoe Gaston from APL Logistics, and second runner up Kazuyuki Togashi from Oakwave Express/TNL Express.

Gemma Sadiua from MIASCOR emerged as the Ladies’ Division Champion and Carmela Rodriguez from Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal the first runner up.

Fun hole winners were Jan Anthony Coching (Mercury Freight)–Nearest the Pin; Arnold Brizuela (AAI Worldwide Logistics)–Longest Drive; and George Pay (Airspeed)–Most Accurate Drive.

The tournament was supported by Manila North Harbour Port, Inc., International Container Terminal Services, Inc., Shacman Motors Philippines and Association of Off Dock CFS Operators of the Philippines.
