The United Portusers Confederation of the Philippines, Inc. (UPC) concluded its 3rd annual open golf tournament on January 19 at the Canlubang Golf & Country Club in Laguna.

The following were the event’s winners:

Ladies’ Division:

  • Champion: Myrna Enriquez
  • Runner-up: Stephanie Ligot

Men’s Division Class “C”:

  • Champion: Kurt Tan
  • 1st runner up: Fritz Chua
  • 2nd runner up: Francis Angelo Granado
  • 3rd runner up: Arne Reodique

Men’s Division Class “B”

  • Champion: Roosevelt Lasac
  • 1st runner up: Lee Wilson
  • 2nd runner up: Randy Juacalla
  • 3rd runner up: Kristian Sade

Men’s Division Class “A”

  • Champion: Gilbert Purcia IV
  • 1st runner up: Nelson Mendoza
  • 2nd runner up: Herbert Leonen
  • 3rd runner up: Marcus Saludes

Low net champion: Roy Cebrian

Low gross champion: Randall Ty

  • Longest drive: Guilbert Purcia IV
  • Most accurate drive: Art Pagarigan

UPC said the event is part of its vision to foster public and private sector partnership through inclusive levels of engagement. It was also meant to raise funds for the confederation to continue pursuing its projects.

UPC is composed of industry associations representing the transport and logistics industry, including warehouse operators, forwarders, customs professionals, exporters, importers, and manufacturers.

Member associations include the Association of Off Dock CFS Operators of the Philippines; Association of Transshipment Operators of the Philippines; Philippine Association of Black Iron & Galvanized Iron Pipes & Tubes Manufacturers, Inc.; Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines; Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia; Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc.; Philippine Insurers & Reinsurers Association of the Phils.; and the Philippine Multimodal Transport & Logistics Association, Inc.
