2GO enters 2026 with expanded multimodal, freight, and digital logistics services
2GO Sea Freight has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of 100 new 40-foot trailers.
The investment supports 2GO Sea Solutions’ transition from rented equipment to company-owned assets, enabling tighter operational control and improved service delivery for customers nationwide, the company announced.
The acquisition is part of a broader fleet modernization program aimed at strengthening efficiency, reliability, and operational resilience across its logistics network.
The fleet expansion also complements recent service enhancements, including the launch of a weekly Manila-to-Siargao route last November 10, 2025, and the deployment of a modern roll-on/roll-off passenger (ROPAX) fleet under the Sea Solutions business.

Entering 2026, 2GO said it is strengthening its service pipeline with a renewed focus on innovation, integration, and nationwide connectivity. The company is ramping up efforts across freight, express delivery, sea travel, and digital fulfillment to meet growing demand from businesses and consumers.
“Our outlook for 2026 is anchored on building smarter and more responsive logistics solutions that support economic activity where it matters most,” 2Go Group president and CEO Frederic DyBuncio, said in a statement. “As the Philippine economy grows, logistics becomes even more essential. Our role is to ensure goods, services, and people move reliably and efficiently across the country.”
2GO’s freight forwarding and special container solutions cater to industries requiring secure, temperature-controlled, and customized cargo handling, particularly manufacturers, agribusiness firms, and exporters involved in inter-island and international trade.
Its sea-based logistics and ROPAX operations further enhance the company’s multimodal capabilities, connecting major and secondary ports and enabling the movement of both passengers and essential goods.
The company has also invested in port infrastructure, including expanded passenger terminals, to support stronger connectivity among Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao amid continued growth in inter-island mobility and commerce.
