  • 72.7% or 2,238 of 3,078 takers passed this year’s customs brokers licensure examination

  • 38 examinees garnered the top 10 spot led by Carlos Jophet Enopia of the Philippine Christian University-Manila with a 95% rating
  • The top three performing schools in terms of passing rate were Mabalacat City Colleges, Lyceum of the Philippines-Manila, and Batangas State University-Batangas City

A total of 2,238 or 72.7% of the 3,078 takers passed this year’s customs brokers licensure examination (CuBLE) given by the Professional Regulatory Board for Customs Brokers (PRBCB) in the National Capital Region, Cebu, Lucena, and Davao this month.

This is so far the highest passing rate for the annual CuBLE, according to PRBCB chairman Samuel Bautista, surpassing the record 57% passing rate in 2023.

This year’s results were released on November 20, two working days after the last day of the examination, which were officiated by Bautista, and PRBCB members Nenette Dagondon and Albert Cruz.

“We are proud to announce that this year’s CuBLE results represent a historic milestone, surpassing all previous records. This achievement underscores the Professional Regulatory Board’s dedication to elevating the standards of the customs profession as a vital component of the global supply chain,” Bautista said in a statement sent to PortCalls.

“These results stem from our strategic partnership with industry experts and the academe. Together, we modernized the Table of Specifications (TOS) and engaged in extensive nationwide consultations with Higher Education Institutions throughout Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to ensure our assessment matches the evolving demands of the trade,” Bautista added.

A total of 38 examinees garnered the top 10 spot led by Carlos Jophet Enopia of the Philippine Christian University-Manila in first place with a 95% rating.

Completing the top 10 highest ratings are the following:

● Second place: Ram Christian Gimeno, Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC), 94.25%

● Third place: Arkim Baronia, Batangas State University (BSU)-Batangas City, 94%

● Fourth place: Bernadette Joy Ann Cayangyang, Lyceum of the Philippines (LPU)-Manila; Gian Carl Olivo, Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC)-Dasmariñas, 93.75%

● Fifth place: Reggie Acapuyong, LPU-Manila; Kris Rean Agaton, Gordon College (for Olongapo City College); Joshua Chua, LPU-Manila; Angeline Fababier, LPU-Manila, 93.25%

● Sixth place: Chris David Demaro, Lyceum of Alabang (for NCST); Patric Manluyang, DMMA College of Southern Philippines (DCSP); Sophia Pineda, Mabalacat City College (MCC), 93%

● Seventh place: Keith Angel Frane, BSU-Batangas City; Vanessa Rejano, EAC-Manila,92.75%

● Eight place: Marjorie Alipio, Northern Zambales College (NZC)-Masinloc; Lyka Bautista, MCC; Edrie Jancy Duran, HCDC; Mike Henry Estoque, HCDC; Michel Joseph Farrales, NZC-Masinloc; Mary Nil Noro, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges; Alan Paolo Perez, LPU-Manila; Roniza Mae Raymundo, John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod City; Fredrick Rancel Santos, LPU-Manila, 92.50%

● Ninth place: Abegail Atienza, LPU-Batangas, Inc.; Same John Bunyag, DCSP; Chemalyne Canlas, MCC; Jim Zane Dizon, MCC; Hanna Zofia Limbo, BSU-Batangas City; Baby Jane Mendoza, Westmead International School; Jocelyn Ocon, DCSP, 92.25%

● Tenth place: Princess Sarrah Anuada, HCDC; Kristine Joy Bilolo, BSU-Batangas City; Mellea Annie Dalucapas, LPU-Manila; Ashley De Villa, BSU-Batangas City; Justin Ejan, NZC-Masinloc; Mikaela Labanancia, LPU-Manila; Jianne Trisha Olalia, MCC; Mariaj Michaella Victorina, 92%

Among the schools with more than 40 examinees, MCC was the top performing school with a 97.06% passing rate,followed by LPU-Manila with 91.3%, and BSU-Batangas City with 90.41%.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line starting December 22, 2025, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees, meanwhile, will be announced on a later date.
