AP Cargo has opened its 100th branch right inside the Dangwa Flower Market in Don Quijote Street, Sampaloc, Manila, considered a commercial landmark in the Philippine capital.
The new branch marks a major step in the company’s nationwide push to connect local businesses, the logistics service provider said in a statement.
The opening also comes as AP Cargo continues to strengthen its presence and position as the Philippines’ leading domestic airfreight forwarder, expanding its reach to meet the evolving logistics needs of businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
AP Cargo said choosing Dangwa for its milestone branch carries particular significance. Long before it operated 100 locations, AP Cargo built its reputation transporting fresh marine harvests across the country. AP Cargo said those early days taught the company how to handle highly perishable goods, for which even a slight delay can ruin a shipment. Decades later, AP Cargo is serving a market with similar demands.
Known as Manila’s central trading center, Dangwa has served as a hub for florists, wholesalers, and event organizers. Setting up a branch here links AP Cargo’s early days of moving fresh catch to its current capacity for handling time-critical goods of all kinds.
“Opening our 100th branch in Dangwa is truly a full-circle moment for us,” said AP president and chief executive officer Enrique Castillo.
“AP Cargo’s journey began with transporting fresh marine harvests across the country, where every shipment required careful handling and timely delivery. Today, we bring that same commitment to a community whose livelihood also depends on freshness and time. This milestone reflects what Delivering Possibilities means to us—connecting businesses to opportunities, wherever they may be,” Castillo added.
Access to nationwide network
On a practical level, AP Cargo said the Dangwa branch gives local vendors and flower traders direct, walk-in access to a nationwide distribution network. Merchants can easily send products to key destinations such as Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo, extending their reach well beyond Metro Manila.
The branch also accommodates general cargo shipments, extending its services beyond the flower industry to meet the broader logistics requirements of individuals and enterprises in the Sampaloc neighborhood.

AP Cargo said hitting the 100-branch mark is more than just a physical expansion – it proves the company’s push to make domestic shipping more accessible to businesses of all sizes.
From hauling crates of fresh products to managing the broader cargo volumes it handles today, AP Cargo said it has built an infrastructure that connects local markets to distant provinces.
AP Cargo said this milestone celebrates how far it has come and is another opportunity to fulfill its promise of “Delivering Possibilities”, connecting more communities, supporting local enterprises, and opening new opportunities through its expanding network.
