Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) is celebrating 40 years of enabling trade through its ports, investing more than P42 billion in port infrastructure and modernization, and facilitating millions of cargoes and passengers in its terminals.
In the last four decades, ATI’s ports have handled approximately 30 million twenty-foot equivalent units of containerized cargo, 57 million metric tons of non-containerized shipment, 10 million vehicles, and around 70 million passengers, the port operator said in a statement.
Together with its strategic foreign equity partner DP World, ATI has been transforming its gateways into safer, smarter, faster, and more sustainable logistics hubs capable of meeting the evolving demands of global commerce.
Since its beginnings in 1986, ATI said it has grown into one of the Philippines’ leading port and logistics operators, managing strategic gateways for international trade, domestic commerce, passenger mobility, and integrated logistics.
Over the years, ATI said it has continuously evolved alongside the country’s expanding economy, helping businesses reach new markets while creating opportunities for communities nationwide.
Its longstanding relationship with DP World also ushered in global expertise, world-class operational standards, advanced technologies, and sustained investment to develop future-ready ports and integrated logistics solutions that strengthen the Philippines’ position within regional and global supply chains.
Today, ATI said it operates a comprehensive network of strategic trade assets across the country. Backed by DP World’s global expertise, ATI said it has transformed Manila South Harbor into one of the Philippines’ premier international container gateways and positioned the Batangas Integrated Port as a vital hub for cargo, passenger, and automotive logistics serving Southern Luzon.

The company said it has likewise pioneered industry benchmarks through facilities such as the Cavite container barge terminal and its inland logistics terminals, strengthening supply chain resilience while delivering greater efficiency and competitiveness to customers.
Together, ATI and DP World have also supported the expansion of key Philippine industries, from manufacturing and automotive to renewable energy and infrastructure, while modernizing passenger transport gateways and introducing logistics innovations that improve the movement of goods across the country.
