The Bureau of Customs (BOC) recorded its highest monthly and January-July revenue collections while also surpassing its revenue targets for both periods.
Based on preliminary data, BOC collected P95.848 billion in July 2026, the highest monthly revenue in the agency’s history. The amount also exceeded its collection target of P91.526 billion, higher by 4.7%, and was 12.5% higher than the P85.180 billion posted in July 2025.
The record July performance also pushed BOC’s cumulative collections for the first seven months of the year to P587.711 billion, likewise the highest collection ever recorded for the January-to-July period. The figure also surpassed BOC’s collection target of P576.366 billion by 2%, generating a surplus of P11.345 billion. Compared with the P543.951 billion collected during the same period in 2025, collections increased by 8% or P43.760 billion.

BOC in a statement said the strong preliminary results reflect its sustained efforts to strengthen revenue collection through enhanced customs procedures, intensified border protection measures, digital transformation initiatives, and closer collaboration with stakeholders. BOC said the achievement likewise reinforces its commitment to supporting the administration’s economic and fiscal agenda while facilitating legitimate trade and ensuring efficient service delivery.

“These record-breaking collections are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the men and women of the Bureau of Customs across the country. Taos-puso kong pinasasalamatan ang bawat kawani ng BOC sa kanilang hindi matatawarang serbisyo para sa bayan (I heartfully thank each BOC employee for their resolute service service to the country),” Nepomuceno said.
He also again emphasized that every peso collected by BOC helps finance programs and projects that directly benefit Filipinos, in line with the administration’s vision of fostering economic growth, strengthening public services, and accelerating national development.
The Development Budget Coordination Committee has set a more than P1 trillion revenue collection target for BOC this year, higher than the P934.4 billion actual collection in 2025.
