BOC-MIP recognizes outstanding stakeholders for 2025

The Bureau of Customs-Manila International Container Port (BOC-MICP) recognized its top-performing trade stakeholders for 2025 during an awarding ceremony held on January 26, 2026 at the MICP Multipurpose Hall.

The event honored leading importers, customs brokers, deconsolidators, exporters, and shipping lines for their significant contributions to the port’s revenue collection and trade facilitation efforts.

The ceremony was led by MICP district collector Atty. Felipe Geoffrey De Vera IV, with deputy collector for administration Gerardo Macatangay, deputy collector for assessment Arvin Bundukin, and deputy collector for operations Atty. Edward Ibera. Division heads, section chiefs, and key port officials were also in attendance.

A plaque of recognition was awarded to the port’s top stakeholders, including the top 10 importers:

  • Toyota Motor Philippines Corp.
  • Terra Solar Philippines Corp.
  • Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
  • Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp.
  • LG Electronics Philippines Inc.
  • Bricolage Philippines Inc.
  • Procter & Gamble Philippines Inc.

Top customs brokers were also recognized, with awards given to the Top 10 under the Formal Entry Division:

  • Betty Mariano Calamayan
  • Dexter Saylago Pepanio
  • Bobby Cunanan Ilao
  • Jaysil Ronnie Cabral Bustinera

The top 5 under the Informal Entry Division:

The port also cited its top deconsolidators, including LBC Express Inc., Total Line Logistics Inc., Oceanlight Cargo Forwarding, Atlas Brokerage & Express Padala Inc., and 12:24 Cargo Express Corp., as well as its top exporters:

  • Peter Paul Philippine Corp.
  • L.T.D. Ever Extreme Enterprises Co.
  • IRSB Impex Corp.
  • Fortune Empire Multipurpose
  • 20Mapogo Scrap Trading

Recognized as top shipping lines were Ocean Network Express Inc., CMA CGM Philippines, Evergreen Shipping Agency Philippines, SITC Container Lines Phils. Inc., and Maersk Filipinas Inc.

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) received special recognition for its world-class service and continued support as the port’s terminal operator.

In his closing remarks, De Vera congratulated and thanked the stakeholders for their continued collaboration.

“Today’s recognition is not just about what you have already achieved, but also about what lies ahead. We look forward to more shipments moving through our Port, stronger trade activity, and greater opportunities for economic growth. As trade continues to evolve, we remain ready to move with you, processing faster, coordinating better, and ensuring that every shipment is handled with utmost care,” he said.

Aligned with the directives of Customs commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, the BOC-MICP said it will continue to engage closely with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and further strengthen revenue collection.
