BOC recognizes 2025 top importers, ports that beat collection targets

  • BOC also recognized the ports of Surigao, Clark, Aparri, and Limay for exceeding their annual targets in 2025

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) recognized the top 10 importers for 2025 in terms of duties and taxes paid, a list that continues to be dominated by oil and petroleum, and motor vehicle companies.

They are, with the corresponding payments:

  1. Petron Corp. – P88.963 billion
  2. Toyota Motors Philippines Corp. – P52.517 billion
  3. Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. – P38.298 billion
  4. Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc. – P36.36 billion
  5. Seaoil Philippines, Inc. – P20.496 billion
  6. Insular Oil Corp. – P19.090 billion
  7. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. – P13.189 billion
  8. Jetti Petroleum Inc. – P12.773 billion
  9. Filoil Logistics Corp. – P11.003 billion
  10. Chevron Philippines, Inc. – P9.635 billion

BOC also recognized four of its collection districts that were able to surpass their annual revenue collection targets for 2025. These were:

  • Port of Surigao – P689.97 million
  • Port of Clark – P5.5 billion
  • Port of Aparri – P983 million
  • Port of Limay – P120.852 billion

Last year, BOC collected a total of P934.4 billion, lower than the P958.7 billion target but higher than the P916.7 billion collected in 2024.

This year, the Development Budget Coordination Committee has set a P1.003 trillion revenue collection target for BOC.

Finance secretary Frederick Go expressed confidence that BOC will finally be able to collect P1 trillion in revenue this year.

As of January 2026, BOC has collected P80.744 billion, exceeding its target for the month by P513 million and surpassing its P79.254 billion collection in January 2025 by 1.9%.
