The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao and Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) have formalized plans for a new environmentally sustainable office for the Customs Collection District XII following the signing of a Deed of Donation on November 18, 2025.

The partnership is aimed at creating a workspace designed for sustainability, efficiency, and improved public service. The facility is envisioned to promote better energy use, reduce carbon footprint, and provide a healthier environment for personnel and stakeholders.

According to BOC-Port of Davao, the project aligns with the agency’s broader push to enhance environmental performance across government facilities by promoting efficient energy use, reducing carbon emissions, and providing a healthier working environment for employees and stakeholders.

“The initiative reflects growing efforts within the public sector to integrate green practices into infrastructure development, with the new facility envisioned as a long-term investment in sustainable government operations,” the BOC-Port of Davao said in a statement.

DLI is the property development arm of the ANFLO Group of Companies, one of the biggest Philippine banana exporters and also owns the Davao International Container Terminal, Inc. (DICT).

The DICT operates the modern container port located in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. It is connected to DLI’s  Anflo Industrial Estate, a registered economic zone.
