DHL Supply Chain Philippines has expanded its healthcare logistics capabilities through a new partnership with Terumo Philippines, providing enhanced warehousing and distribution services for medical devices, the companies jointly announced.
Operations began in March 2026 out of DHL Supply Chain’s facility in Parañaque, Metro Manila.
Terumo Philippines provides advanced medical devices and solutions, particularly cardiovascular and blood management technologies, used by hospitals and healthcare providers nationwide.
The local partnership is part of a “broader, strategic relationship” between DHL and Terumo, spanning multiple markets across Asia Pacific.
Healthcare is a key growth sector for DHL Group, represented by DHL Health Logistics, its Life Sciences and Healthcare brand, supported by a €2-billion global investment in healthcare infrastructure, technology, and personnel.

The collaboration pairs DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics and regional distribution strength with the Japanese medical technology company’s position in cardiovascular healthcare products.
“This partnership reflects our continued commitment to strengthening DHL Supply Chain’s capabilities in Life Science and Healthcare logistics, a sector where quality, compliance, and product integrity are critical. As demand for specialized healthcare logistics continues to grow, we remain focused on building the capabilities needed to support industry leaders like Terumo and ensure the safe, efficient movement of essential medical products,” said Bevan Williams, country managing director of DHL Supply Chain Philippines.
Under the partnership, DHL Supply Chain Philippines will provide healthcare logistics solutions, including a dedicated ambient storage that maintains proper conditions for product quality and distribution.
The facility also has a temperature-controlled storage area for specific product classes, designed to strengthen compliance and ensure product integrity throughout the supply chain.
Both companies are currently implementing end-to-end system integration to provide real-time inventory visibility, improve data accuracy, and support coordination between the two organizations.
“Terumo Marketing Philippines Inc. (TMPI) selected DHL Supply Chain Philippines following a competitive evaluation process. DHL demonstrated the strongest overall value proposition, combining proven logistics expertise, advanced capabilities, and scalable solutions that align with TMPI’s long-term supply chain objectives. We look forward to a strong partnership that will further enhance operational excellence and support our continued growth,” said Melissa Jauregui, Terumo Philippines head of supply chain.
