FAST Logistics Group has opened a new warehouse facility in Opol, Misamis Oriental, strengthening its logistics footprint in Northern Mindanao and supporting businesses operating in Cagayan de Oro and surrounding areas.
The new Opol hub is located about 30 minutes from Cagayan de Oro City and 25 kilometers from Laguindingan Airport. It offers 1.8 hectares of leasable warehouse space, with provision for expansion of up to 5 additional hectares, bringing the total property area to six hectares.
The facility features a high-clearance ceiling to allow greater pallet stacking capacity and flexible racking configurations, as well as 1.2-meter-high docking bays designed to enable faster, safer, and more efficient loading and unloading operations.
FAST said in a press release the warehouse was built with durability and operational resilience in mind, with design features that allow it to withstand natural calamities such as flooding and earthquakes.
The Opol hub adds to FAST’s nationwide network of more than two million square meters of warehouse space across over 150 hubs, the largest in the Philippines. The group also operates one million dry pallet positions and about 30,000 cold storage pallet positions nationwide.
Before opening the Opol facility, FAST had been operating three other hubs in Misamis Oriental, in Bulua, Tagoloan, and Casinglot, to serve its principals.
“This new warehouse underscores FAST’s long-term commitment to Cagayan de Oro and the entire Mindanao as a critical growth engine for Philippine trade,” said Manuel Onrejas Jr., FAST chief executive officer for logistics.
“By bringing modern, strategically located facilities closer to our customers, we are enabling faster, more reliable supply chains that help businesses scale efficiently across the island,” he added.

Onrejas said the Opol hub is strategically positioned to support distribution not only within Misamis Oriental but also to Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, and neighboring provinces in the Agusan region.
Designed for flexibility, the facility can function as a third-party distribution hub for large enterprises in consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and agribusiness. It is also accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises through a pay-per-pallet, per-day model, offering scalable storage options.
Warehouse operations at the site are supported by FAST’s Warehouse Management System, which provides real-time inventory visibility, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient warehouse execution.
Aron Javier, FAST business unit head for warehousing solutions, said the new facility addresses rising demand for flexible and scalable storage in Mindanao.
“Our new hub gives customers the ability to expand or adjust space requirements in Northern Mindanao as their business needs evolve, while benefiting from FAST’s integrated logistics capabilities,” Javier said.
“We also aim to create meaningful local employment opportunities in Cagayan de Oro through the operations of this facility, helping build skills, careers, and stronger communities in Mindanao,” he added.
FAST said the Opol hub is expected to further strengthen supply chain connectivity between Mindanao and the rest of the country, supporting regional growth and more resilient logistics networks.
