Professional services firm GHD has appointed Jemmalene Rubiano as director, Transport & Water in the Philippines, expanding its leadership team as demand for infrastructure projects across the transport and water sectors grows.
Rubiano will lead multidisciplinary teams supporting clients through the project lifecycle, from planning and design to project delivery.
Her appointment comes as infrastructure investment and activity continue across the Philippines, with clients facing changing priorities in infrastructure development and sustainability.
Rubiano has more than 15 years of experience delivering and leading major transport and water infrastructure projects in the Philippines and international markets.
Her experience covers planning, design, project and construction management, as well as strategy development for projects involving water infrastructure, ports, airports, roads, rail, and bridges.
“Transport and water infrastructure play a critical role in shaping connected, resilient and thriving communities. GHD Philippines general manager Simon Terry said the appointment highlights transport and water infrastructure’s role in the country’s economic growth.
