Aviation Concepts Technical Services, Inc. (ACTSI) has been appointed as an authorized dealer for Gogo Business Aviation in the Philippines.

Under the recently signed appointment, ACTSI is authorized to market, sell and install Gogo products for customers in the country. Headquartered in the U.S., Gogo’s portfolio supports aircraft wireless communications and content delivery services, including broadband data, voice and related connectivity services.

ACTSI in a statement said the appointment strengthens its ability to provide business aviation customers with integrated aircraft connectivity solutions alongside its growing maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities.

“As demand for seamless, reliable inflight connectivity continues to grow across the Asia-Pacific region, expanding our global network with high-caliber partners like ACTSI is essential. ACTSI’s commitment to technical excellence and customer service makes them an ideal partner to support business aircraft operators in the Philippines with Gogo’s industry-leading connectivity solutions,” Gogo Business Aviation regional director for Asia Pacific Tom Phillips said.

For his part, ACTSI president and chief executive officer TJ Trinidad said their partnership with Gogo represents another important step in expanding the services they can provide to customers.

“Connectivity has become an increasingly important part of the business aviation experience, and being able to support these requirements directly complements our broader MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) capabilities,” Trinidad said.

“More importantly, it allows us to continue giving customers, particularly with the Philippines’ substantial King Air Fleet, the responsive and personalized support that defines ACTSI,” he added.

The partnership further expands ACTSI’s ability to support aircraft owners, operators and management companies through its facilities at Subic Bay International Airport.

As part of the dealer program, ACTSI, a member of the Razon Group of Companies, will maintain Gogo-trained technical personnel and the specialized tooling required to perform installations and product support in accordance with Gogo standards.

The partnership also reflects ACTSI’s strategy to broaden its technical capabilities while maintaining its bespoke approach to aircraft maintenance and customer support.

From its growing Subic Bay platform, ACTSI aims to provide operators with a more integrated maintenance experience – bringing aircraft care, technical expertise and connectivity support under one roof.

ACTSI currently provides aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for corporate jets based out of Subic Bay. ACTSI is a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration 145 Repair Station with other approved maintenance operation approvals such as in San Marino, Cayman, Qatar, Bermuda, Isle of Man, and the Philippines.
