ICTSI’s Gonzalez appointed as senior advisor, leaves other posts

  • Christian R. Gonzalez has been appointed as senior advisor of International Container Terminal Services, Inc., while stepping down from his role as executive vice president, chief compliance officer, and chief sustainability officer effective July 1, 2026
  • ICTSI chairman and president Enrique Razon, Jr. said Gonzalez “will focus on key areas that the company is giving the utmost priority to, which include global yield and operating expense management, business development initiatives, and IT transition”
  • Caroline Causon will take over administrative functions as chief administrative officer, in addition to her duties as senior vice president for global corporate planning and financial services, also effective on July 1
  • Gonzalez will retain his positions on subsidiary company boards and as president of the ICTSI Foundation

Christian R. Gonzalez has been appointed as senior advisor of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), while stepping down from his role as executive vice president, chief compliance officer, and chief sustainability officer effective July 1, 2026.

His appointment was approved by the ICTSI Board of Directors on June 3, the port operator said in a regulatory disclosure.

ICTSI chairman and president Enrique Razon Jr. said Gonzalez “will focus on key areas that the company is giving the utmost priority to, which include global yield and operating expense management, business development initiatives, and IT transition.”

Gonzalez will retain his positions on subsidiary company boards and as president of the ICTSI Foundation.

Caroline Causon will take over administrative functions as chief administrative officer, in addition to her duties as senior vice president for global corporate planning and financial services, also effective on July 1. Causon has held her current position since 2023, and prior to that was vice president, head of financial management and budget. She also currently holds positions in various ICTSI subsidiaries.

Gonzalez, meanwhile, was appointed EVP in 2020 and as CCO and CSO in 2023. Previously he was the vice president and head of Asia Pacific Region, and Manila International Container Terminal (MICT); MICT operations manager, and chief operating officer; chief executive officer of of Madagascar International Container Terminal; and head of ICTSI’s Business Development for Asia Region. He first joined the ICTSI group in 1997, working in various operational departments.
