J&T Express Philippines and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer YADEA have joined forces to advance greener and more efficient last-mile delivery services, with the large-scale deployment of e-tricycles serving as the cornerstone of the initiative.
The partnership aims to reduce carbon emissions from urban deliveries while developing scalable clean-energy practices for the logistics sector, J&T Express announced.
By combining J&T Express Philippines’ logistics network with YADEA’s EV technology, the companies said they are taking steps to modernize last-mile operations and support more sustainable urban mobility.
YADEA ST13 e-tricycles, which are designed for high-frequency urban delivery operations. will be deployed.
The model features a lightweight mesh cargo box intended to optimize battery range, as well as A+ grade puncture-resistant steel-wire tires designed to support continuous delivery operations.
J&T Express Philippines National Capital Region key account manager Mary Andaya said the partnership would integrate EV solutions into the company’s delivery operations.

“Through this collaboration, we are actively integrating electric vehicle solutions into our last-mile operations. This initiative optimizes our daily workflow while aligning with our shared direction of collaborating on the large-scale adoption of electric tricycles for deliveries to enhance delivery efficiency within the local logistics sector,” Andaya said.
YADEA Philippines general manager Wang Chun said the partnership “reflects a deep synergy between product capability and logistics networks, representing a practical response to the country’s demand for green transportation. We hope our locally tailored electric vehicles allow delivery personnel to ride with greater peace of mind and operate more efficiently, injecting tangible momentum into low-carbon urban logistics.”
J&T Express Philippines and YADEA said they will continue pursuing sustainable innovations, promoting low-emission transportation and supporting the transition toward greener urban logistics in the Philippines.
