K-Logistikus Philippines has expanded its nationwide logistics footprint with the opening of a 1,500-square-meter crossdock hub in Tabaco City, Albay, enhancing the company’s distribution network throughout the Bicol Region.
Located along Tabaco-Ligao Road, the Bicol Crossdock Hub will serve as a distribution gateway for the provinces of Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Masbate.
The facility has capacity for up to 20 outbound trucks daily and is positioned near major retail centers and transport routes, enabling faster movement of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and improving access to nearby island provinces.
“Bicol is an important growth corridor, and strengthening our presence in the region allows us to better support the evolving needs of businesses and the communities they serve,” Sulficio Tagud Jr., president and CEO of K-Logistikus Philippines, said in an emailed media release.
“Our new crossdock hub enables us to move products closer to key markets, shorten delivery lead times, and respond more quickly to customer demand. More importantly, it strengthens our ability to provide dependable, demand-driven logistics solutions that help our partners improve operational efficiency and achieve sustainable growth,” Tagud said.
The hub is operated by K-Logistikus’ Contract Logistics and Crossdock teams, handling cargo from inbound receipt through final delivery.
By positioning inventory closer to customers, the facility is expected to shorten replenishment cycles, optimize delivery schedules and improve distribution efficiency.
The Bicol facility forms part of K-Logistikus’ nationwide expansion strategy, with the company investing in logistics infrastructure to support more resilient supply chains and regional economic activity.
K-Logistikus Philippines is a crossdock and distribution logistics provider serving more than 25,000 outlets nationwide.
